Together with the Blende 1 photo club, I visited an oldtimer air show near Stuttgart in Sothern Germany. The biennial „Hahnweide Oldtimer-Fliegertreffen“ is one of the largest oldtimer meetings in Europe, and a great event to dust off your long lenses. BMW Welt, Munich, Germany 2010
Open to the public, BMW Welt is a multifunctional exhibition and event facility of the BMW AG. BMW Welt is a great photo location. Attending a workshop about the principles of composition in photography, I had a couple of hours inside to take my photos. Here I would like to present a small selection of the photos I shot (click on the photo below…). Asking, I got an email with permission from BMW Welt to publish those photos on my website (limited to private, non-commercial use). Thank you!
Seychelles, Indian Ocean 2010
In Mai/June 2007, we spent two weeks visiting the Seychelles (Indian Ocean). That trip to the Seychelles was one of the occasions where I had taken the effort to digitize a few of many thousands analog photos taken with my Minolta Dynax/Maxxum 9xi. You can see some of them in this gallery (click on the photo below)… One photo in that gallery was shot not with my 9xi, but with some simple digital snapshot camera... try to find it!
